you know you're a college student when...

1. you used to go to school at eight am, now any class before noon is considered 'early'
2. you max out your credit card in a bookstore
3. you call having a social life, bumping into more than three people you know in the hallways.
4. breakfast is anything that will keep you up for class
5. you'd rather wash dishes than study or write that paper
6. you're idea of 'doing lunch' with a friend is picking up food and eating in the cafeteria before class.
7. your facebook status usually has words in it that have to do with what you're studying
8. you've got your professors on speed dial
9. you've become real good at procrastinating, without feeling guilty
10. you spend all night blogging

gee, I'm lucky! When I was a student, we didn't have blogging. But in nursing school we really stayed up half the night studying. I don't think I could have survived being a student with a computer.....

I stopped buying textbooks for school, theyre a waste of money and they rarely get used anyway and when you sell it you dont get nearly what you paid. You'll find that 90% of teachers test on the class notes and what they discuss, books are a college requirement but teachers rarely hold you to it. If I deserately need 1 I get an international edition or find it on the classifieds. Don't believe me? Test it out one semester, you'll save thousands. YOU DONT NEED BOOKS!

true that...and it's worse when you buy a book and then drop the class...ugh

the second after you walk out of the bookstore, you won't even get half of its original price in a refund
